Arius (250-336) was presbyter who opposed the Trinity doctrine at the First Council of Nicaea. He said that Christ was created by God (Rev 3:14), at His will (Rev 4:11). After pretending to accept the Trinity doctrine for the sake of the emperor Constantine, a faintness came over him and his bowels protruded, and he died.
