| THE MEASUREMENTS OF THE TEMPLE |

| The prophecy of a new temple, a new worship place of God. The whole design must carefully be followed, Ezek 43:11. The second temple existed in the time of the Apostles. This is an end time prophecy, of the spiritual temple of the last days, ”a holy temple in the Lord…a dwelling place of God in spirit” (Eph 2:21-22). In Chapters 44 to 46, we read that this Temple will be designed for Prince David, who will be “Prince forever,” Ezek 37:25. The Children of Israel will make an offering to the Prince, and He will “make atonement for the house of Israel,” Ezek 45:16-17. Water flows out from this Temple towards the East, and brings life to those living in the Eastern region (Ezek 47:1). As we go farther, and farther East, the water becomes so deep that one can only swim in that water, (Ezek 47:5). This Temple is completely metaphorical of the Sanctified Church in the last days. Ezek 43:2 tells us that “the Glory of God of Israel came by the way of East.” Here, we learn the direction that the power of God comes from, and where the true gospel will be restored, in the last days. |

| Ezek 40:2 on a very high mountain – takes us to the New Jerusalem, the Church, in Rev 21:10. like the structure of a City – Ezekiel sees the New Jerusalem, which he describes in Ezek 48. |

| Ezek 40:3 a man like the appearance of bronze – the Spirit of Christ, the Captain of the Armies of Israel, WHO IS LIKE GOD (Michael), described in Dan 10:6, He is called Yihvah in Ezek 44:2, and Ezek 44:5. with a measuring rod in his hand – the Spirit of Christ also has a measuring rod in Rev 21:15, “the one who spoke to me had a measuring rod in His hand.” |
| 4 The man said to me, Son of man, see with your eyes, and hear with your ears, and set your heart on all that I shall show you; for, to the intent that I may show them to you, are you brought here: declare all that you see to the house of Israel. |
| Ezek 40:4 Declare to the House of Israel everything that you see – this is similar to the words of the Spirit of Christ in Rev 1:11. We will not show all the details of Ezek 40-42, but of course every measure for the construction of the temple is described. There is no measurement of the outer court. Rev 11:2 tells us: “leave out the court which is outside the temple and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles.” Many chambers are described, “in My Father’s house there are many dwelling places” (John 14:2). There are chambers for singers and priests, etc, ie for all the members of the body of Christ. Ezek 42:17 |
