| THE SEVEN BOWLS OF WRATH |

| 1 I saw another great and marvelous sign in the sky: seven angels having the seven last plagues, for in them God’s wrath is finished. |
| Rev 15:1 I saw another sign in heaven – John is about to introduce a new series of revelations. The chronological order is again disrupted. in them the wrath of God is finished – when the bowls of wrath are complete. |
| 2 I saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and those who overcame the beast, and his image, and the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God. |
| Rev 15:2 a sea of glass mixed with fire – those of the Sanctified Church, as having gone through plagues of Egypt, safely crossing on top of the Red Sea, delivered through baptism. The sea of glass and fire represents the baptism of water and the holy spirit: “I baptize you with water..He will baptize you with the holy spirit and fire” (Matt 3:11). Baptism is also compared to crossing the Red Sea by Paul in 1 Cor 10:1-2. those victorious over the beast and his image – we are now beyond the LORD’s Day. The beast, the false Christ, and his image, the false God of the Trinity, have been defeated. and the number of his name – victorious over the Latin man, Lateinos, 666, the corruption of the truth by “Latin Christianity.” holding harps of God – a metaphor of praying in the Spirit, praying in tongues, as described in 1 Cor 14:7, and Rev 14:2. |
| 3 They sang the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, “Great and marvelous are your works, Lord God, the Almighty; Righteous and true are your ways, you King of the nations. |
| Rev 15:3 they sang the song of Moses, the bond servant of God – the deliverance of God’s people is similar to the deliverance of God’s people from Egypt. Being victorious they sing the song of Moses, the song the Israelites sang after God delivered them from Egypt. and of the Lamb – here we have the song from two Covenants, the Song of Moses and the Song of the Lamb. The Song of the Lamb, as we discussed in Rev 14:3, is a song in the Spirit (the Lamb), as described in 1 Cor 14:15. King of the nations – see Zech 14:9, and Rev 11:15, “in that Day the LORD shall be King over all the earth.” |
| 4 Who wouldn’t fear you, Lord, And glorify your name? For you only are holy. For all the nations will come and worship before you. For your righteous acts have been revealed. |

| 5 After these things I looked, and the temple of the tent of the testimony in heaven was opened. |
| Rev 15:5 the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened – from Acts 7:44-45, Heb 8:5, we understand that when Moses saw a vision of the tabernacle of testimony, and constructed it according to what he saw. More specifically though, this is the temple of the tabernacle, that is the end time Church and its dimensions, which are opened for the saints to see. The meaning is that the measurements that are required for the spirit of God to come in, are revealed to the saints, as described in Ezek 43:2. |
| 6 The seven angels who had the seven plagues came out from the temple, clothed with pure, bright linen, and wearing golden sashes around their breasts. |

| 7 One of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God, who lives forever and ever. |
| Rev 15:7 one of the four living creatures – which must be the eagle, the last day saints who work with the Angels to bring the wrath of God. seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God – God’s wrath is righteous and beautiful as signified by the golden bowls. |
| 8 The temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power. No one was able to enter into the temple, until the seven plagues of the seven angels would be finished. |
| Rev 15:8 the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power – as in Ezek 43:2, after the Temple was constructed according to the measurements, the Glory of God came in. See also Exod 40:32-35 no one was able to enter the temple until the seven plagues were finished – this is taken directly from Ezek 44:2, “and the LORD said to me, ‘This gate shall be shut,; it shall not be opened, and no one shall enter in it.’” After the Sanctified Church is restored, the spirit of God shall remain within it, until the Lord’s Day. No man will stand in the Holy Place, as the bishop of Rome did, see Matt 24:15. The message here is that the end time Sanctified Church will be the agent of the seven bowls of wrath, just as the Seven Trumpets began with the outpouring of fire from the altar, in Rev 8:5, the end time outpouring of the holy spirit. |
