He is King of Kings, and Lord of Lords – this title was first given to Nebuchadnezzar, the beast in Dan 2:37. Now it is given to Christ. Finally, it will be given to God at Christ’s appearing, as described in 1 Tim 6:14-15; compare to Titus 2:13. The “rule of Christ” has begun, and the 1,000 year rule of the Martyrs with Christ.
